During this time of uncertainty and growing concern surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), Geddes Federal Savings & Loan Association would like you to know two things:

  1. We are prepared; and
  2. Your money is safe.

Have Confidence When Visiting a Branch

We are working with our cleaning professionals to coordinate more extensive and frequent cleanings of our branches and ATMs. We have made hand sanitizer readily available and are reinforcing best practices recommended by the CDC.

We are requiring all employees who are feeling ill to stay home. The health and safety of our customers and employees is a top priority.

Drive-Thru Service

Geddes Federal has drive-thru access to our tellers at each of our conveniently located branches.

At our Westvale Plaza location, the drive-thru is located at the rear of the building. Most transactions can be completed without coming into the lobby.

Banking Remotely is Also an Option

While we love to see our customers in our branches, we understand that times such as these may warrant banking from a distance. We are prepared and ready to serve you even if you cannot get to us. There are tools and products already in place to make sure your life is not interrupted.

Surcharge-free ATM

Geddes Federal customers have access to surcharge-free ATMs as part of the Allpoint ATM network. You can find Allpoint ATMs virtually anywhere throughout the United States and around the globe. With over 55,000 participating ATMs, your cash is never far away.

Find an ATM near you on our website, or in our mobile app under "ATM and Branch Locator." *If the Allpoint ATM displays that you will be charged a fee, accept it and finish your transaction. You will not be charged an ATM fee.

Consider Your Debit Card for Purchases and Cash Withdrawals

You can use our debit card as "credit" wherever MasterCard is accepted (at checkout and online), and "debit" for when you need cash. We encourage you to test your debit card at an ATM to ensure you have the correct 4-digit PIN. If you do not know your PIN, please call 1-800-757-9848 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Online Banking and Bill Pay

Accessing your account online is the best way to review transactions, make transfers, and even pay your bills. If you do not log in regularly, we recommend that you take the time to ensure you have online access. Mobile App with Mobile Deposit

If you don't already have our official app, we recommend that you download it for your Apple or Android device.

You can make transfers, check your accounts, find ATMs, and deposit a check with your phone. Ask us to enable remote check deposit for your account. It is the easiest way to deposit a check without leaving your home.

Be Aware of Fraudsters

It is sad, but the coronavirus could accelerate the activities of cyber criminals who prey on the public's concerns. They often look for ways to gain trust and information they can use to gain access to your account. We will never call you and ask you to provide or verify your full Social Security or account numbers, one time passwords, user name or passwords over the phone. If you are not 100% certain you are working with one of our professionals, please hang up immediately and call 315-468-6281. Further, if you are contacted by email or electronically and are not 100% certain it is Geddes Federal, please do the same.
