Update from the Geddes Federal CEO
To our loyal customers:
2020 has been a year of adapting to a new and different way of living, working and doing our banking. We are very appreciative of our customers who continue to adapt to the changes that we continue to make in an effort to keep our customers and our employees safe.
During this pandemic, many of our customers are taking advantage of our mobile and online banking, or are using our drive thru services, rather than coming inside our branches. Others prefer to use our extensive ATM network, remote check deposit and bill pay options. And of course, all of our customers are welcome to make an appointment, to come into our branches and talk face to face with one of our loan originators or customer service representatives. Regardless of your preference, Geddes Federal Savings is here for you and your banking needs.
I wanted to let you know that we have continued to adapt our processes to better serve you, while keeping every one’s health and safety in mind.
We continue to require those customers who come into our lobbies to wear masks and to adhere to social distancing. Further, we have employees who are responsible for sanitizing the service areas after each customer, and common areas on an ongoing basis throughout the day. We are also still limiting the number of customers who are admitted to the lobby at a time.
What is new is that our lobbies are closed. Both the Manlius and Westvale Offices are open, but the doors are locked. You may come in for a teller transaction, however, you must make an appointment to enter the Savings or Mortgage lobbies, please call (315) 468-6281.
In an age of masks, acrylic dividers, and six feet of separation, we are constantly striving to continue to bring you the “hometown banking feeling” while keeping you safe.
As the world continues to change, one thing will remain constant: We will do our best to provide our customers with the best possible banking experience possible.
It is our great privilege to serve you.
